Something Wicked This Way Comes

Yesterday was just crazy gusty and windy...flickering lights & rattle the windows winds! I love stormy days like that....lighting candles just in case we lose power. Perfect night for a good suspenseful book. I'm currently reading The Wicked Girls by Alex Marwood.

I recently came across beautiful paraffin candles by the company Melt. They have a collection that is currently available at Target. Great addition to the kitchen island area along with some autumn decorations. These candles smell amazing, burn for approx. 40 hours and are priced at about the $15 mark. Great idea for teacher gifts, hostess gifts and Thanksgiving! I love the tile design on the glass...I save pretty holders, clean them out & use them at my desk. Perfect for paperclips, staples or stamps....

Beachy Bronze

I love a great beachy look for summer. Wavy hair, effortless bronze-y makeup...just a perfect sunkissed glow. Two of my favorite women who have exactly this ideal style are Aerin Lauder and Lauren Bush Lauren. Aerin Lauder has just launched a great line called Aerin that features both makeup and home items. Her cosmetics offer stunning shades of bronze and nudes....this Pretty Bronze Illuminating Powder being my favorite. Her South Hampton boutique looks amazing and her Fall 2013 home line can be seen online. 

Lauren Bush Lauren cofounded the Feed Project organization that has now linked with Target. Sales from this great line feed children across America. I love these casual canvas bags....they are hip and functionable....and the sale of just one single tote enables Feed & Target to provide 28 meals for children.

Back during the holidays Neiman Marcus and Target paired together to offer an extraordinary seasonal collection! I was given this super hip Tory Burch lunch box as a gift and it's one of my favorites. The quality is amazing and I love the vibrant design. I have transformed it into the perfect organizer for my yarn stash...all those smaller balls of yarn that always add texture and charm to a scarf project. Where do you keep your favorite yarns? xo
