Exploring...

Weekends are the best time for searching out new yarns! I'm so addicted to bulky yarn but love grabbing it in lighter hues in the spring & summer. This new wool yarn I found on Etsy (in the shop Fiesta Cat Yarn Company) is so bright & cheerful! A great, soft bulky... it has a perfect combination of tangerine, white and purple. Hand spun in Oregon, the artist has lots of unique yarns available!

  1. This yarn is beautiful!!! What will you knit with it?? I found a great pattern for a scarf using Knit Collage Gypsy Garden Mermaid Cafe...it is great so far...but I must admit I need to attend one of your classes SOON!!! I have been fumbling with the seed stitch and Sister Yarn...I just can't get it going, I seem to twist it each time....and I'm hoping to learn to do hats...would definitely need your class for that!! Have a great day!! Courtney

  2. Hi Courtney! Thanks for your note! Seed stitch is tricky when you initially learn but I'm certain you'll catch on to it super fast. Meet me for coffee at Starbucks soon...we'll chat & I'll show you the stitch! I have a cute pattern I use for kids snowboard hats....I think it would be a fun project! xo
